Learn more about Julia’s story

Julia was born in Canada while her father was pursuing a PhD. As the daughter of Brazilian parents, she grew up in Brazil and built her entire life there, including her career as a physician.

At the age of 32, while renewing her documents, she discovered that her birth certificate was not legally valid. It was an unexpected and concerning situation.

She was introduced to Migro through a recommendation and began the process of regularizing her legal status.

With professional guidance and close support throughout the process, she was able to resolve everything within the expected timeframe. Today, her situation is fully regularized, and she feels at peace—mainly because of the psychological relief rather than any practical changes in her daily life.

“I don’t even tell people that I’m Canadian, even though I have dual citizenship, because I don’t identify with Canadian culture. I identify with Brazilian culture.” – Julia
